Men in Black is a franchise that I don’t think will ever leave the public consciousness. Sure, we didn’t know the comic even existed when the movie came out and we were 10 years old (I’m not doing that math but the age seems right for me). And for most kids when a cartoon happens as well that’s just a goldmine waiting to happen.
Good thing Kristian Cabrera from Simping for Senpai is here to help make up for my childhood foolishness. And maybe to uncover some secret alien related government tomfoolery.
Dinosaurs. Guns. If you’re a 90s kid then you’re probably already sold on this one. Throw in the fact that the first Jurassic Park movie came out the same year and holy crap were dinosaurs the cool thing.
So naturally I got Steven Ray Morris from See Jurassic Right to come help us take a look at these totally irreverent dinosaurs who might enjoy their toys a bit too much.
Time to dig back into the Malibu vault and pull out Prime, part of the Ultraverse universe. But he seems kind of familiar since Prime is a kid who turns into an adult super hero. Except the hero he turns into is based on whatever the kid wants it based on. So yeah, that’s a thing that happened.
Listen in as Scott Niswander from NerdSync comes by the show to talk about this Sega CD exclusive experience. And yeah that’s about all I can say about it.
Aliens. It’s not just a meme, it’s an entire government cover up spanning years and years of extra terrestrial interactions and communications. Or it’s a giant load of crap. I don’t know, I’m not a fancy science guy with a fancy security clearance.
That’s where Chris and Cody from Believer Skeptic Podcast come in. Listen in as these two experts (or at least much more of an expert then I am) in the paranormal come on the show to talk about Men in Black, and a bit about men in black.
In the far far future of 2055 the world has somehow survived World War III. Except with all of the nuclear explosions and toxins in the environment and stuff like that the world’s population has all turned into mutants. Let’s ignore that the science doesn’t work there at all. But one scientist found a way to turn mutants back into humans! And yes, we’re ignoring that science there as well.Listen in as Karrington Martin from Real Dudes Podcast comes on to talk about this little known comic (at least to everyone I talked to) that someone has a game that is pretty well known game, at least in the Retro Gaming circles.
