The world of comics and games, as evidenced by the existence of this podcast, have a decent amount of crossover. But a game where you introduce a whole new team to an already established universe? And have a tie in comic? That’s got to be pretty rare, right?

Listen in as Robert Secundus from Comics XF comes on the show to help take a look at Marvel Nemesis Rise of the Imperfects.Continue Reading

I picked up this comic to review because I had never heard of this hero before. There is a reason for that. This character is primarily found in older TV series in Japan. However, let me tell you Marvel has done a great job at creating a fast paced story with the character borrowed from Tsuburaya Productions. The essence of this comic is big monster fights which I am a huge fan of. Though there is a new twist on the big monster fights. The reader gets a protagonist to follow and root for in these fights.Continue Reading

Or do we? Listen in as Josh Sutton from Panels to Pixels takes a stab at convincing you that not only is this a good movie to go watch, but it’s also not a horrible game to go with it.Continue Reading

How do you follow up what is possibly the greatest comic book video game of all time? Or at least was probably holding that spot when it came out. Easy, you just pick the story up right there and start going again. Enter Spider-Man 2: Enter Electro. More like Enter Awesomeness.

Enter Anthony Gramuglia to help break down this not as iconic but equally as good in its own special way sequel, Spider-Man’s place in pop culture, and the Spider-Man comics that were coming out at the time.Continue Reading

All my life I’ve heard only 2 opinions of Scott Summers/Cyclops. Either people loved or hated him. Now thanks to this comic from the minds and talent of Jay Edidin (in his comic writing debut no less), Tom Reilly, Chris O’Halloran, and Tom Orzechowski I think I have no choice but to decide which camp I belong in.Continue Reading

How easy should it be to make a Hulk game? Put things in front of Hulk. Let Hulk smash. It’s not a hard concept really. Especially when you kind of have a story already made for you. You’d think anyone could do it.

Enter Diego Rivera from the Behold The Sack YouTube channel. He likes Hulk. He likes games. It’s a match made in heaven really. If only everything could work out this nicely………Continue Reading

Sometimes Japan gets something super cool that we don’t. Alright, that happens all the time. But in this case it really sucks because it’s a good Spider-Man game based on a comic mini series and it really wouldn’t have taken much to get it ready to come out over here.

Listen in as Adam Messinger comes to talk about Spider-Man Lethal Foes and we cry over the fact that this game never got a proper US release.

The Marvel cinematic universe might have only existed since 2008, but that doesn’t mean there weren’t Marvel movies before. And I’m not talking about that quack of a Howard the Duck movie either.

One of the things that I really love about Spider-Man is how big the cast of other characters is, especially the crossover with other Marvel heroes. Maybe some of that is because he’s the first place I really saw that.

And maybe some of why the first Spider-Man game for PS1 is my all time favorite Spider-Man game in the whole world no question is because it’s the first one I really got to play through over and over and over. Listen in as Paul Csomo from Varmints joins the show to finally talk about what is possibly the game that I get asked about doing the most. Easily top 3 worst case.Continue Reading

Alright, things are really starting to creep closer and closer to Marvel vs Capcom with a game that finally introduces the concept of Marvel characters fighting against people from a whole different universe.
